No, the house pictured here is not our house. It's actually one that I've drawn on for inspiration in our renovation project. It's also an example of an exterior color scheme that I think works. However, finding an existing scheme that works and coming up with an original one are two very different things. We've decided that we want light (white or almost white) trim and the color on the second level should be heavier than the color used on the first. I've also managed to find a relatively small set of colors from which to choose. But we can't seem to make it the last mile and make a decision. I've struggled long enough and I've decided to rely on the wisdom of crowds to help me solve this problem. If you're interested in helping:
